Oh, yes.  What can I say.  This is the only post on an intended blog.  This blog is a special project that is about painting the landscape where I live.  There is a lack, in the local art scene, of art that responds directly to life here. If Monet lived here, he wouldn't be painting the Matterhorn.  He painted his surroundings ... the poplars, the haystacks, the lily pond.

But it is finally about to happen.  I'm working on paintings of the plateau today.  May 27th.  So there will be something up here soon.  In a day or two. Sorry for the long drumroll.  Thank you for waiting.
